We believe that it is possible for aviation to develop sustainably, enhancing the economic and social benefits while managing the environmental and community impacts.

Corporate responsibility is an integral part of BAA’s way of doing business. Each BAA-owned airport has a managing director responsible  for identifying the sustainability impacts relevant to its operations and for developing and implementing a corporate responsibility policy to manage these impacts. Each year, a percentage of BAA's pre-tax profits are provided for community investment, this includes our own charity, BAA Communities Trust.
