About this report
In a year of significant change, we have decided to launch our first online annual review. This more accessible, user-friendly site replaces our traditional printed annual report, which now forms part of Ferrovial's corporate reporting.
Although we are no longer required to produce an annual report in our own right, we believe that regular reporting it is an essential part of keeping our stakeholders informed of our performance, ambitions and our position on key issues such as the environment, security and the passenger experience.
This will also be the last year that we report to 31 March. From 2008, our reporting will follow the calendar year and will cover 12 months to December, rather than 12 months to March. This will align our reporting with that of our parent company’s reporting structure, and is the reason why this report’s financial performance* is for the year to 31 December 2006. Passengers numbers quoted in this report are for the 12 months to March 2007, unless otherwise stated.
