Corporate responsibility
As a leader in the aviation industry, we have always taken our social and environmental responsibilities seriously.
We believe that expansion in aviation can be compatible with action on climate change and concern for communities and that we can balance the social and economic benefits with the social and environmental costs. Our commitment is to manage our business in a way that enhances the positive and minimises the negative impacts of our activities.
Much of our work is done in partnership with other businesses and organisations – including the airlines and other companies that operate at our airports. As well as meeting our own responsibilities, we aim to influence and support these organisations, and we engage proactively in EU, national and regional consultations on sustainable development issues.
