ID pass colour codes

BAA ID passes are in a landscape format. There are four colours for the restricted zone, plus the blue-and-hatched-yellow design used solely for aircrew.
Yellow passes are issued for landside use only. Grey is for controlled areas and orange for cargo areas.
Red passes are only issued to certain job functions.
Each pass also carries a highly visible number or numbers. These show the areas of the restricted zone that the holder may be given access to.
Please note that only those who have a specific need to enter the baggage make-up areas will be allowed access.
