"With more than 100 destinations served by 40 airlines, a growing route network and more than nine million passengers, it's an exciting time for Edinburgh Airport.

As we grow, our aim remains to deliver excellent customer service for each and every one of our passengers. While our focus is on safety, security and service in our day-to-day operation, we are also looking to the future.

The very shape of Edinburgh Airport is set to change as we move ahead with a £300 million programme of investment. A key development is the construction of our new departure lounge which will double in size our existing facility and provide a new security search area, additional seating and more shops, bars and restaurants.

While our plans for the capital's airport are ambitious, they are also achieveable and sustainable. At BAA Edinburgh, we are proud of our city and proud of our airport. Our aim is to strengthenour foundations to meet the challenges of our world-class city."
