Heathrow Academy

Formerly the Visitor Centre, the Heathrow Academy re-opened in January 2007. The exhibition is open to the public from 10: 00 to 16:00 at weekends and school holidays. It is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. It also includes a Ritazza coffee shop (currently open 07:00-16:00 weekdays only), aviation model shop and improved conference and training facilities. Look out for the new aircraft viewing platform in front of the Heathrow Academy.

'Explore Heathrow’ exhibition - currently closed for relocation

The ‘Explore Heathrow’ exhibition celebrates the highlights of Heathrow’s past and present whilst speculating on the future of the airport and aviation. It contains informative and interactive displays, images from around the airport and historical memorabilia. There are also great views of the northern runway and airfield. The exhibition will be closed from April so that it can be relocated to another area of the building. It will reopen for the summer holidays.
