The rail station is directly linked to Gatwick's South Terminal and is just a few minutes from North Terminal via a free transit train link. Rail information and ticket desks are located in the rail station and within the arrival areas of both terminals.

Rail services at Gatwick Airport

First Capital Connect

• Regular service every 15 minutes through Sussex to Brighton.
• Services every 15 minutes north to East Croydon, central London (King's Cross Thameslink), Luton and Bedford. 
• Services north from King's Cross to Cambridge, King's Lynn and Peterborough.

Southern

• Regular services to London Victoria 4 times an hour during the day and hourly during the night.
• All northbound Victoria services stop at East Croydon and Clapham Junction.
• Direct services south to Brighton, Eastbourne, Portsmouth and Southampton.
• Single ticket to London Victoria £8.90, with an average timetabled journey of 35 minutes.
  

South Eastern

• Services to Redhill, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

First Great Western Link

• Services to Redhill, Guilford and Reading.
• Change at Reading for services to Oxford, Worcester, Swindon, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol, Taunton, Exeter, Plymouth and stations to the far South West.
• First Great Western offer a special Gatwick Flyaway ticket which enables 2, 3 or 4 adults to travel to Gatwick Airport on one ticket at a special flat rate price. Additionally, up to 4 accompanied children can travel for the flat fare of £1 each. Ticket is valid for one month, travel at any time. Proof of airline travel must be shown when purchasing tickets.

• Services operate to destinations including Birmingham, Manchester and Edinburgh.
