What the website offers
There are two distinct parts to baa.com. One half of the site (airports) is devoted to helping the travelling public find out all they need to know about the airport they are travelling to/from. The other half of the site (corporate) has information about BAA, the business.
These two sections are each split into areas known as channels, which group together similar information to help you find what you need.
Within the airport half of the website the channels are:
- Flight Information - for live arrivals and departures information, timetables and a comprehensive list of the destinations that can be reached and the airlines that operate from our airports.
- To and from our Airport - to help you plan your journey to and from the airport, whether by car, coach, bus or train.
- Airport Information - the low down on what facilities are at each of our airports.
- Shopping and Eating - a guide to the restaurants, bars and shops that you will find at the airport.
- Plan and Book you Trip - where we and our partners help make your trip run smoothly: here you can book flights, hotels and car rentals.
There is also an extra channel that can be reached from links on many pages, as well as through Search and through Help, called Special Needs. This contains information from all other areas of the site, plus some unique content, that is particularly relevant to those passengers with special needs who may require extra help on their journey.
The corporate channels are:
