Heathrow Express offers the fastest link between Terminal 5 and central London. Trains run every 15 minutes to and from London Paddington, a 21-minute journey.
Travel in comfort on modern trains with air-conditioning, plenty of baggage space, wireless internet and free TV. You can even use your mobile phone when the train is in a tunnel. Need to relax or work in peace? Every train has a Quiet Zone carriage.
Tickets and faresTickets can be bought on the internet, at the station or on board the train. The current standard single fare is:
- £14.50 if bought online,
- £15.50 at the station or
- £17.50 if bought on the train
A standard return currently costs:
- £28 online,
- £29 at the station or
- £31 on the train

Where to catch trainsThe Terminal 5 rail station is located under the terminal complex and linked to arrivals and departures by glazed express lifts. It's close to the blue colour-coded pillar in the arrivals concourse.
Train timesServices to and from Terminal 5 run every 15 minutes. Trains from Heathrow to London run between 05:07 and 23:42. Trains from London to Heathrow run from 05:10 to 23:25.

London connectionsPaddington station is close to Hyde Park and Oxford Street. From Paddington you can catch trains to the South and West of England, or take London Underground's District, Circle, Bakerloo and Hammersmith & City lines.
